Director Brad Hasse has a diverse background in commercials, music videos, documentaries and television and has shot in over 20 countries in pursuit of all varieties of stories and content for clients that include Listerine, United Colors of Benetton, AutoTrader, MTV, and music videos for RJD2, Gramatik, and Moby. An ADC Young Guns X and FABRICA fellowship recipient, Brad often combines practical and visual effects with humorous dialogue and is distinguished by his highly inventive and absurdist creative vision, which the The Young Director Review calls “seriously wacky, totally weird and rather wonderful.” His comedic and pop culture sensibilities inspired his multitude of viral videos, including 2015’s “Texting Hat” and 2011’s “Planet of the Apes Party Fun Time,” the likes of which have been featured on the home pages of Creativity, Creative Review, Fast Company, Laughing Squid, BuzzFeed, Spinner, MTV, Noisey, AOL, among others.

I’m a South African born photographer raised in a little town called Cape Town on the southern tip of Africa. Yes, Africa, and I can assure you I never came across lions and elephants on the way to school
I started photography in my teenage years, photographing my friends and family.
In my early 20’s I moved to the Dubai, and jumped straight into shooting some big campaigns for American Express, Emirates Airways, Oil of Olay to name a few. Tired of the over luxurious lifestyle that is the substance of Dubai, I decided to move to one of my favorite cities….Paris. I lived on a little road named Rue Oberkampf which was filled with musicians and artists.
3 years ago I made the big move to New York with my family, a place that I now call home.
I have an incredible amount of energy, ( thanks to my 10 cups of organic french roast i require daily) this comes across in my images, they are alive and packed with expression and emotion. As my dad says if you gonna do something, make sure you’re the best at it, and that is what i live by. I stay professional and humble, and this work etiquette is appreciated by all that I work with.
Whether its photographing the worlds most dangerous gangsters in South Africa, or riding through the desert on Arabian horses in search for the perfect location, filming kite boarders in shark invested seas or shooting in icy conditions on the top of the Jungfraujoch mountain in Switzerland, whatever project, I give 150%, from start to finish.
When I do get time off I visit my parents on the family farm in the South of France, where i spend my days exploring the countryside, spending time with my family and indulging in french cuisine ! I always have my camera with me, to capture every moment.
Raising my son Cash, with my husband in Manhattan, i often use him for personal projects, and have learnt how to photograph kids in a natural, real way that brings out the dream like adventures that is the everyday in a kids life. I am patient, and that is my most important asset while photographing kids.
